Albuquerque and Oklahoma City

Oh, these beautiful mountains of New Mexico!! These shots are all around Albuquerque. There is snow on the mountains as well as clouds along the top.

These windmills were right along the interstate in Oklahoma.

Trip West

An amazing New Mexico Sunset. It lasted forever and was breathtaking.

This was a drive through some canyons. It looks so much like the Grand Canyon without the tourists. The drive was so scary! It is straight up and straight down and it was snowing and icy! It is the drive from Phoenix to Show Low, AZ. There is a bridge in the bottom picture. Click on it to see the larger version of the picture.

These two pictures show the winding road through the canyon. And the last one on the right is Frank looking at the canyon. He is not too thrilled with heights so I had to snap the picture quickly!

Back in the US

We are always glad to get back to the US. Our first trip back in the US we went through Chester Illinois - home to Popeye.

We thought this socker ball water tower was unique.

Suddenly there were whale tales in the middle of a field. No signs, no explanation. Very strange!

Brooklyn to Montreal

We recently drove from Brooklyn to Montreal for a delivery. We tried to get a lot of pictures of the road signs in the Montreal area...all in French! This picture was in Brooklyn. The one way signs go both ways on the same street.

Canadian Deer Crossing Sign

and

US Deer Crossing Sign

Frank says the deer in Canada look like
they are not in good shape.

Here are some of the French signs. We have no idea what they say.

This is a snowmobile sign but we aren't sure what it means. We think they have snowmobile crossings. It was not snowing when we were there.

Speed limit sign. Yahoo - 100!!
